About Us

Kootenay Lemonade is a group based in the West Kootenays. Our goal is to organise and unite Kootenay Kid Entrepreneurs in hosting an annual Lemonade Stand FUNdraiser to support programs or initiatives that benefit local youths with mental, emotional, social, and physical health within the community. Each year a different youth program or organisation will be selected as the FUNdraiser recipient.

Who We Are Supporting

Our 2024 FUNdraiser recipient is Little Oasis Equine Assisted Learning

Little Oasis is an organisation that offers Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) to local youth and adults.

Funds gathered on Lemonade Stand Day will go to support Little Oasis to help them connect youth with horses to foster and support mental, emotional, social, and physical wellbeing. Little Oasis is located in Casino and has been offering EAL since 2011. Little Oasis relies heavily on sponsorship funding to be able to care for the horses and offer their programs. Unfortunately, Little Oasis programming and funding was significantly impacted by the pandemic and they were not able to offer their program in the fall of 2023. Despite this setback, Little Oasis has assisted hundreds of youth and we would like to be able to help them support hundreds more!

Join an entire network of caring families throughout the Kootenay’s who want to make a difference by supporting local initiatives and organisations who aim to provide resources for local youths mental, emotional, social, and physical wellbeing.

By registering for a table, you will receive a Lemonade Stand Starter kit to help prepare you for a great day of FUNdraising and selling lemonade. We will add the registered Lemonade Stand locations to the map to make supporting the Lemonade Squeezers that much easier.
